Once again,
We drove in cars and drank in rebellion. I remember every joint you rolled, every candy we stole and every lie we told in understood, eyed deception.
Between you and me alone, between our conflicted body home separated by millions of miles but tied down by a bond imperishable,
Ripe with dreams strung along with what you called fairy lights, that i have now draped around my room in this worldly sort of fight.
Ohh, how i'd dream for you to wake me up again, for it to be, like one of those nights.
Every locked door to the dancers inside us, we have revolted callously and somehow, we have won, but where is victory because not in this loss.
